This hidden gem has over 1,500 acres of hills, glades, forests and protected land with a variety of stunning wildflowers. Depending on your preference, Table Rock State Park can be enjoyed most of the year as it’s hard to compete with the vibrant fall colors. However, for peak wildflower and spring blossom viewing, we recommend late April to early June.
Not enough people are talking about this spot! Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area features a mix of forested trails and open meadows full of wildflowers! Many people enjoy this area as it’s less crowded and remarkably peaceful.
The best time to visit is, without a doubt, during the spring, specifically April through May. This is the perfect season to enjoy the pleasant weather, take a relaxing nature walk and browse the stunning wildflowers.
